According to Lasha Farulava, a member of the “National Movement,” at the party’s congress on August 5 specific names and surnames will be identified who will lead the party for the next 6 months.

According to him, during the 6 months the party will prepare to hold elections for the chairperson and primaries for regional leaders.

“The ‘United National Movement’ is transitioning to horizontal governance. Precisely in connection with this, at the congress on August 5 specific names and surnames will be approved who will lead the party for 6 months. For 6 months the party will prepare to hold internal elections for the chairperson and, among them, primaries for regional leaders. We want the party to be more open and for our voters to be involved in the party’s activities. Accordingly, specific people will take responsibility before the voters, supporters, and party members, and this process will be irreversible, open, and transparent. Precisely this is what the congress that will be held serves,” Lasha Farulava stated.
