According to Maka Botchorishvili, the arrival of the new German ambassador in Georgia will be an opportunity for relations between the countries to be brought within a normal framework.

I hope that this will be an opportunity for a positive reset in relations with Germany. Germany is an important partner country and it is very important and significant for us to normalize relations with them. Relations with Germany have recently been burdened with more negative dynamics for various reasons that I will not discuss now. However, I hope that the presentation of credentials by the ambassador and the arrival of the new German ambassador in Georgia will be an opportunity for relations between our countries to be brought into a normal framework and to develop further, as both Germany and our country need," said Botchorishvili.
