CANDY from Georgia, that won the Junior Eurovision song contest 2011 will return to Tbilisi today. As InterPressNews was told by Public Broadcaster, family, journalists and supporters will receive CANDY members at Tbilisi Railway station. Director General of the public broadcaster will meet with them and congratulate on victory after the winners of the junior festival will hold press conference at the press club of Prime Time.

CANDY from Georgia received a total of 108 points with their song Candy Music. The Netherlands finished second with 103 points, Belarus finished third with 99 points.

The contest took place in Armenia. The show featured guest performances from Vladimir Arzumanyan, the winner of last year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest as well as the Armenian participant from the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, Sirusho. The third guest was the Swedish star and their 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest participant Molly Sandén. 13 countries participated in the junior Eurovision.

Georgia has become the finalist for the second time. In 2008, Georgia represented by “Bzikebi” won in Cyprus. Bzikebi were invited to Yerevan as a special guest status by initative of the host national broadcaster.

2012 Junior euro-contest will be hosted by Netherlands.
