Mikheil Kavelashvili pardoned 37 individuals.

According to Kavelashvili’s press service, the pardon applied to 29 individuals with non-custodial sentences and 5 individuals serving prison terms, while the criminal records of 3 individuals were expunged.

“The President of Georgia’s use of the exclusive authority granted to him by the Constitution is based on the principle of humanity and the interests of the state,” the statement reads.
