Nino Lomjaria names the police officers, prosecutors, and judges who are "responsible for fabricating false and baseless charges against civil activists"

According to Nino Lomjaria, founder of the civil platform Georgia’s European Orbit, the punishment of civil activists is a decision made by the ruling party, and both law enforcement officials and judges are involved in executing their illegal orders.

She also stated that Georgia is under monitoring, and all of Georgia’s international partners “are informed about every human rights violation.”

“As we can see, the cases we have analyzed reveal political motivation. The exemplary punishment of these individuals is a decision made by the ruling party, and both law enforcement officers and judges are involved in executing its illegal orders.

The individuals responsible for fabricating false and baseless charges against civil activists are:

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Central Criminal Police Department: Levan Tabidze, Aleksi Koberidze, Revaz Zirakashvili, Giorgi Khargelia, Giorgi Gureshidze, Giorgi Lobzhanidze, Grigol Kachkachishvili, Paata Mchedlishvili, Lasha Tavadze, Emil Kuprava, Mirza Japaridze, Lasha Kharkhelauri, Giorgi Rosofidze, Archil Natsvlishvili, Edgar Oganesian, Giorgi Chikvaidze, Zurab Rushishvili.

Prosecutors: Shmagi Gobejishvili, Nugzar Chitadze.

Judges: Arsen Kalatozishvili, Spartak Pavliashvili, Lela Maridashvili, Irakli Khuskivadze, Tamar Mchedlishvili, Mzia Garshaulishvili, Nana Shamatava.

We also refer to the list published by the chairman of the Helsinki Commission, which includes 52 political prisoners and Bidzina Ivanishvili’s hostages, as well as 19 judges and 18 prosecutors who assist Ivanishvili in their illegal imprisonment, human rights violations, and repression.

Once again, we emphasize that Georgia is under monitoring, and all of our partners are informed about every human rights violation. They also know whom Ivanishvili relies on and to whom he gives illegal orders, whether they are prosecutors or judges. We once again call on judges and prosecutors to distance themselves from these cases and act in accordance with the law,” Lomjaria stated.
