"I don't think anyone is afraid. After all, what more can they do than what they have already done? Will they arrest us? Let them arrest me, it's not a problem. I am fully aware of what I'm doing, and so are many others," said Khatia Dekanoidze, one of the leaders of "Unity - National Movement," in a statement near "Tbilisi Mall," where protesters were gathering.
Dekanoidze mentioned that if many people gather on-site, the government will not dare to arrest thousands of people.
"The Minister of Internal Affairs, who is listed in the 'Magnitsky List' for organized torture and violence, should not teach us what to do. No one is afraid of Gomealuri or the regime in general. I just have one question—over the years, I’ve written far more serious statuses on social media than, for example, members of the 'Daitove' group, and why don't they come after me? They want to sow fear, try to intimidate people. It won’t work; no one will be afraid. I am not afraid, and these people are not afraid. This is what we really need to do. Behind us are those who are imprisoned. Mzia Amaghlobeli has been on hunger strike for the 22nd day. Also, the activist from Batumi is in prison. People are in jail, and every day we stop, they are watching us, and we need to think about that. Therefore, I am truly not afraid. I want to tell everyone that the sanctioned Minister of Internal Affairs and his sanctioned employees do not present any reason to be afraid because they are here today and gone tomorrow."

I am fully aware of what I’m doing, and so are many others. So, if we are many, trust me, there will be no fear, and the government will not dare to arrest thousands and thousands of people," Dekanoidze concluded.
