This is the bribery of the Central Election Commission (CEC), and moreover, the encouragement that "we are protecting you, but you can also protect yourself, and here, we give you a weapon" – they have turned the CEC chairman and members into an armed structure. All these decisions indicate that Bidzina Ivanishvili has not realized the disaster unfolding around him, opposition politician Roman Gotsiridze said on "PalitraNews" in the "Day Newsroom" program, commenting on several legislative initiatives prepared by the MPs of the "Georgian Dream," including the one that would give the CEC chairman and members the right to carry service weapons.

In addition to this topic, Gotsiridze also discussed the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) monitoring committee's working document, calling it "a very serious conclusion." According to him, "everyone in the West has seen that the elections in Georgia were falsified."

"This government will do nothing, it's a fact. Two months haven't passed, it's been two years or more, and this is what both the Georgian people and international partners demand, and it is highly doubtful that these recommendations will be implemented within two months. The result will be the same. It is unbelievable for a country that is a candidate for EU membership to remain without voting rights in the Council of Europe.

[Regarding the elections] The main point is that the Georgian people won. Thanks to the determination of our people, these protests, which have been ongoing for two months, were not in vain. If it weren’t for these protests, there would be no resolution, nor the processes happening in the EU and the US Congress, and Bidzina Ivanishvili would not be sanctioned today. A lot has happened quickly in recent months, directed at dismantling this government and actually saving the country. Without the active involvement of our people, we would not have had such international support. Everyone in the West has seen that the elections were falsified, that this government is pro-Russian, and that they are ruining the country. Moreover, their interest is to maintain personal power, based on financial and other benefits. They have sacrificed the country, not even hesitating about friendship with Russia to achieve their goals. This is particularly true for Ivanishvili. He doesn't care if he is a friend of Russia or not; whether he is a friend of Ukraine or not. Ivanishvili is an enemy of Ukraine, the West, and America. In reality, he cares only about his own wealth. He needs money and power to be untouchable and increase his riches.

No matter which version of the vote happens, nothing changes for "Georgian Dream." What does "Georgian Dream" have to say?! The demand for elections has already been recorded in this document; this is the main, core vision of our Western partners."

Regarding the suspension of visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic passports, the former member of parliament said that those who have been denied visa-free travel are "unwelcome and untouchable."

"This is a political decision. This means that over three thousand people connected to the Georgian government are already unwelcome and untouchable. The complete political isolation of the Georgian government has already happened. This will lead to economic isolation, and in these conditions, the country will face a catastrophic situation."
