I am sure that our partners will understand and that similar type of interventions, biased attitude and disrespect, which we see and hear in many cases, are unacceptable for us, - said the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili.
As Ilia Darchiashvili stated, the partners must listen and share all the challenges that our country has.
"I heard the statement of the Speaker of the Parliament [regarding the visit of the European MPs] and I fully agree with the pathos he expressed. We understand partnership in the sense that our partners must listen and share all the challenges that our country has and that created the need to adopt these legal regulations in our country. Therefore, I am sure that our partners will understand and make sure that similar type of interventions, similar type of biased attitude and disrespect, which we see and hear in many cases, are unacceptable for us", said Ilia Darchiashvili.
The minister noted that Georgia and the country's government are always ready for constructive dialogue.
"I am sure that sooner or later, those people who interfere in the internal affairs of the country in such a rude manner will understand that this is not an acceptable form of relationship. I would like to say once again that we are always ready for a constructive dialogue, not a biased one. Accordingly, we always express our interest to talk openly and honestly with our partners," the minister said.
In addition, Ilia Darchiashvili also noted that Georgia has many partners who are always ready to listen to arguments.
"This is the path that will surely lead us to the point where we, with our partners, will promote the policy of mutual strategic interests, which will be beneficial for everyone," explained the head of the Foreign Ministry.
