If the figures presented by Edison Research are reliable, today the opposition should meet each other, celebrate and agree on who will be a minister in the next government and who will remain in the parliament, - this is how Girchi MP Vakhtang Megrelishvili responds to the results of the research published by "Formula" TV station.
According to Megrelishvili's assessment, party studies are a tool for the struggle between parties in Georgia.
According to him, the indicator written for "Girchi" is promising, because in the sociological studies conducted after the 2020 elections, the party "Girchi" was not even measured, and all studies conducted the party "Other", which meant less than 1%.
"Considering that party surveys are used not for sociological purposes, but for political struggle between parties, we are surprised that for the first time in history, our rival party has written us the rate of crossing the electoral threshold. This indicates that perhaps we have a much better indicator, which cannot be hidden, and it will be seen in the elections among them.
I wouldn't rely on these studies because the comments presenting the study show how unsympathetic we are to the people who did the research. Therefore, in a similar survey in September, we may write 2%.
Therefore, we should not pay attention to research, because it is absolutely discredited," said Vakhtang Megrelishvili.
According to the results of the Edison Research public opinion poll commissioned by "Formula" TV company, if parliamentary elections were held tomorrow, which party would you vote for, the results are distributed as follows:
