According to Mikheil Sarjveladze, serious progress has been made in the direction of defeating tuberculosis in the country
"Since 2015, about 82,000 people have been cured so far, and we have practically started working on the final elimination phase at this point. I will say nothing more about the effect brought to each such person, including from a financial point of view.
As for tuberculosis. We have made serious progress in the direction of tuberculosis. During the last 5 years, the spread of tuberculosis cases decreased by 71% and the rate of cure increased from 65% to 80%," said Mikheil Sarjveladze.
