On January 30-31, at the invitation of the State Minister of Reconciliation and Civil Equality, Tea Akhvlediani, the Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Oleg Serebrian, will visit Georgia on a working visit.
According to the Office of the State Minister, the purpose of the visit is to deepen cooperation between the Office of the State Minister and the Reintegration Bureau of the Republic of Moldova, as well as to develop relations with other relevant agencies of the Government of Georgia and to outline steps for future cooperation.
Within the framework of the visit, the Vice Prime Minister of Moldova will hold meetings with the Prime Minister of Georgia and other members of the government, the Speaker of the Parliament, the Head of the Temporary Commission for Restoring Territorial Integrity and De-Occupation Issues and other MPs, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations and experts. He will also visit the occupation line in the direction of Tskhinvali region.
"Within the framework of the meetings, it is planned to share the experience of Georgia regarding the issues of peaceful resolution of the conflict and get acquainted with the current peace policy of the Government of Georgia, as well as to exchange information about the current situation in the occupied regions of Georgia and the Transnistria region of the Republic of Moldova," reads the information.
