Today is the day of unity in Ukraine. I'm there with all my heart, - this is how the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, responded to the event dedicated to the Day of Unity of Ukraine.

As Saakashvili notes, Ukraine has learned from Georgia's past experience quite well.

"Do you remember the Day of Unity on September 1, 2008 and the live chain?! I am very glad that Ukrainians are learning very well from the experience of Georgia at that time. Today is the day of unity in Ukraine. I'm there with my heart. I am sure that very, very many people will come out," Saakashvili wrote.

February 16 was declared the Day of Unity of Ukraine. The event celebrating this day was held today in Ukraine and Georgia.
