Genady bestaev, who was released from prison by the occupation regime, has paased away.

According to Davit Kacarava, a representative of the anti-occupation movement, Bestaev was in critical condition at hospital.

Genady Bestaev was pardoned by the occupation regime of South Ossetia, was pardoned on November 15, 2021. He was arrested by the occupation forces for crossing the so-called border and drug smuggling. He was sentenced to three years and two months in prison. The occupation regime made a decision to pardon him due to his illness.
