Georgia reports 19,049 new cases of coronavirus, 51 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 56,531 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 39,936 antigen tests and 16,595 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 19,049 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,480,841.

As of February 14, the daily positive rate is 33.7%, during the last 14 days - 32.01% and for 7 days - 32.19%.

In the last 24 hours, 18,409 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,289,168.

51 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 15,628 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

Out of the 19,049 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 8 972 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 1 317, Imereti - 2 854, Kvemo Kartli - 842, Shida Kartli - 970, Guria - 710, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 1 272, Kakheti - 1 229, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 446, Samtskhe -Javakheti - 307, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 130.

The number of active cases amounts to 176 019.
