Ukrainian FM says it's unclear as to why France and some countries are Putin's voluntary defenders

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba says he does not understand why France and some democracies are Putin's voluntary defenders. As Kuleba noted, the Kremlin ultimatum resembles putting a revolver on the table.

Kuleba added that Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a series of ultimatums and put European security in a state of grave crisis.

According to Ukrainian FM, it is unclear why analysts and experts in France and other countries in the democratic world thought that rejecting Ukraine to join NATO could reassure Putin.
