Two Georgian citizens illegally detained by the Russian occupation forces near the village of Gremiskhevi in ​​Dusheti Municipality are free and are currently in the territory controlled by the central government. The information about this is spread by the State Security Service.

According to the agency, from the moment of illegal detention of the mentioned persons, both the "hot line" and all other mechanisms at the disposal of the central government were actively used to ensure their unconditional release. The information was permanently provided to the Co-Chairs and International Partners of the Geneva International Discussions.

According to a statement issued by the SSG, the Russian occupation forces are fully responsible for the destructive actions in the occupied regions and along the occupation line.
