According to the Emergency Management Service, the location of one man trapped under the ground in Tkibuli has been established and they are trying to evacuate him.

"One citizen has already been evacuated to a safe place by the employees of the Emergency Management Service. He has been taken to a medical facility by ambulance.

In addition, the whereabouts of the second citizen have already been established by the rescue teams and an evacuation operation is underway at the moment," reads the statement.

Two men were trapped under the ground in Tkibuli after a coal mass collapsed in a private coal mining quarry.
