Georgia to export new Georgian armored vehicle Didgori Warrior

A new Georgian armored vehicle Didgori, equipped with a 120mm mobile mortar module, will be exported under the agreement signed between the Military Scientific-Technical Center Delta and one of the countries of the Middle East, the Ministry of Defence said.

As InterPressNews was informed by the ministry, the first batch of the armored vehicle –“Didgori Warrior”, equipped with the 120mm mobile mortar system, will be delivered to the armed forces of one of the countries of the Middle East.

“The first public presentation of “Didgori Warrior” prototype, built by the State Military Scientific-Technical Center Delta, was held at the IDEX 2019. The purpose of the “Warrior”, equipped with 120 mm caliber mortar, is the fire support for brigade-sized or battalion-sized units. The vehicle can be used for fire support of mechanized unit in maneuvering operations,” the Ministry said.
